Friends!

We were so lucky to have our friends Shallece and Leximae come visit us for a few days in August. Addie and Leximae had a lot of fun together; Addie always needed to know where "Mae" was and they even got to the point where they were holding hands. One morning, I caught them in my room, mid-fall as they were hugging.

Okay, so you can't technically tell that we're at the zoo because there aren't any animals except for the FAKE penguins...but take my word for it. We're at the Portland zoo!

Wow. It has been awhile since the actual event, never the less, my little big girl did turn 2! June 27, 2008: Happy 2nd Birthday, my little princess Adelaide!

Welcome to the World, Lilah Eloise Moore

She has arrived! Kurt and I got to the hospital about 7:30am on June 16, 2008 for my induction appt and things went pretty quickly and smoothly! At 3:40pm, (with only three pushes), we met beautiful Lilah Eloise. She, along with mom, are healthy and happy. She is a little one; four days late and still only 7lbs and 20.5" We spent one night in the hospital and are home now. Here are a few pictures that we took, they are a little out of order because they came from two differnt cameras. Jayden and Adelaide are very happy to have a brand new sister! (Oh, and in one of the pics while kurt is holding Lilah when she is only 45min old, she is holding her head up on her own!)

Princess Adelaide

Addie's first reaction was that the dress was pretty, then she decided it was way too itchy and insisted we take it off! I guess she'll just stick to trying on as many shoes as she can until the dress-up clothes aren't so bothersome! (No joke, the girl trys to put on Barbie shoes, and they'll only fit on her toes. She thinks it's hilarious!)

Adelaide is feeling much better, the rotavirus is finally taking its' leave!

The flu has hit.

My poor little one. Adelaide woke up this morning in quite a mess. I won't go into the details, but a bath was needed immediately. She can't keep anything down, not even water. It is so sad. She just wants to be with her mommy. I put on 101 Dalmations and she fell asleep, so hopefully she will wake up feeling a lot better and we won't have go through so many clothes and blankets.
